1, Qi standard

Qi is the world's first standardization organization to promote wireless charging technology - Wireless Charging Alliance (Wireless

Wireless charging example

The “Wireless Charging” standard launched by the Power Consortium (referred to as WPC) has two characteristics: convenience and versatility. First of all, different brands of products, as long as there is a Qi logo, Qi wireless charger can be used to charge. Secondly, it has overcome the technological bottlenecks of the “universality” of wireless charging. In the near future, mobile phones, cameras, computers and other products can be charged with Qi wireless chargers, which will provide possibilities for large-scale wireless charging applications.

The mainstream wireless charging technology in the market mainly uses three methods, electromagnetic induction, radio waves, and resonance. Qi uses the most mainstream electromagnetic induction technology. In terms of technology applications, Chinese companies have already stood at the forefront of the wireless charging industry. It is reported that Qi's application products in China are mainly mobile phones. This is the first stage, and will be applied to different types or higher power digital products in the future.

2. Power Matters Alliance Standard

The Power Matters Alliance standard was initiated by Duracell Powermat, which is a joint venture between P&G and Powermat, a wireless charging technology company, and has outstanding overall strength. In addition, Powermat is one of the support members of the Alliance for Wireless Power (A4WP) standard.

Already, AT&T, Google, and Starbucks have joined the PMA Alliance (abbreviation for the Power Matters Alliance). The PMA Alliance is committed to creating wireless power standards for mobile phones and electronic devices that meet the IEEE Association standards and has a leading position in the field of wireless charging.

Duracell Powermat's introduction of a WiCC charging card is based on the Power Matters Alliance standard. The WiCC is larger than the SD card and has embedded components such as coils and electrodes for electromagnetic induction type non-contact charging. The thickness of the card is thin and can be used by inserting the battery of the existing smart phone. The use of this card can make a lot of portable devices. The terminal easily supports non-contact charging.

3, A4WP standard

The A4WP is an abbreviation of the Alliance for Wireless Power standard and was created by the Wireless Charging Alliance jointly established by Qualcomm, South Korea’s Samsung, and Powermat, the aforementioned company. The alliance also includes members such as Ever Win Industries, Gill Industries, Peiker Acustic and SK Telecom. The goal is to establish technical standards and industry dialogue mechanisms for wireless charging devices for electronic products including portable electronic products and electric vehicles.

4, iNPOFi technology

iNPOFi (“invisible power field”) wireless charging is a new wireless charging technology. Its wireless charging series adopts intelligent electric transmission wireless charging technology, with no radiation, high power conversion efficiency, and weak thermal effects.

Compared with other wireless charging technologies, iNPOFi smart no radiation technology, iNPOFi has no radiation, adopts electric field pulse mode, does not produce any radiation, and China Tell Laboratory testing results show that the radiation increase value is nearly zero. In terms of efficiency, the Tel Laboratory also determined that the technology's products, charging transmission efficiency of up to 90% or more, completely changed the traditional wireless charging up to 70% of the following electrical conversion inefficiencies.

In terms of intelligent management, chip-adaptive management technology is used, which includes: automatically turning on and off the charging process; automatically adapting the required voltage and current, managing the charging process to ensure higher charging efficiency; and using a unified charging Board, for any brand, model of electronic products, safe, convenient and efficient charging. In terms of security, it also takes into account various safety issues in the process of weak-current charging, such as electrostatic ESD protection, anti-overcharging, and anti-shock, etc. Even if the power supply device itself has a problem in power management, it can be automatically blown by the inpofi chip. Protect electronic equipment from damage.

It is worth mentioning that for smart device manufacturers, inpofi is based on a very small chip, which realizes a super-micro design with a size of only 1/4 fifty cent coins, which can be easily integrated into any device. It can also be integrated into various forms of wearable devices. This is a product that traditional electromagnetic principles cannot achieve.

iNPOFi technology is a new generation wireless charging technology standard that is highly efficient, green, convenient, and economical. The charging device adopting the technology includes a power transmitting device and a power receiving device. The size and thickness of the transmitting device are equivalent to ordinary mobile phones. The receiving device is embedded in a mobile phone protection cover, and the mobile phone is put on a protective cover and placed on the transmitting device for charging. . During charging, the phone does not need to plug in any cable. Relevant tests showed that the electromagnetic radiation during the charging process was zero, and the power efficiency conversion reached 94.7%, which was close to the wired charging. The charging equipment supports low-voltage power supply and is compatible with ordinary USB power supply; it can realize low-temperature charging and effectively protect the safety and life of equipment and batteries. 5, Wi-Po technology

The Wi-Po technology, which is a Wi-Po magnetic resonance wireless charging technology, utilizes a high-frequency constant-amplitude alternating magnetic field generating device to generate a 6.78-MHz resonant magnetic field to achieve a farther transmission distance.

This technology realizes communication control through Bluetooth 4.0, which is safe and reliable, and can support one-to-many synchronous communication. It also has over-temperature, over-voltage, over-current protection and foreign object detection. Because this technology uses a space magnetic field, the energy will not be emitted like electromagnetic waves, so it will not cause radiation damage to the human body.

Wi-Po magnetic resonance wireless charging can be applied to various scenarios such as mobile phones, computers, smart wearables, smart homes, medical equipment, and electric cars.
